Abstract
Dr. Roger McDermott explored Moscow’s experimentation with, and refinements of, the integration of C4ISR to enhance its conventional military capabilities, which came to fruition in its operational experience in Syria.
The presentation discussed how Russia’s General Staff, using preexisting concepts and the results of earlier reform, finally tried and tested a Russian military variant of network-centric warfare.
