Dr. Dmitry Adamsky
Title: Professor Affiliation: School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy, IDC Herzliya University
Dr. Dmitry (Dima) Adamsky specializes in international security, cultural approaches to IR, and American, Russian, and Israeli national security policies. He is the author of several award-winning books, including Russian Nuclear Orthodoxy: Religion, Politics and Strategy (Stanford UP), which won the 2020 ISA best book award in the category of Religion and IR.
Dr. Kristin Ven Bruusgaard
Title: Assistant Professor of Political Science Affiliation: University of Oslo
Dr. Kristin Ven Bruusgaard focuses on Soviet and Russian nuclear strategy, nuclear and non-nuclear deterrence, and crisis dynamics in Europe. She is a certified language officer in the Norwegian Army and has published extensively in journals such as Security Dialogue and Journal of Strategic Studies.
Dr. Andrew Monaghan
Title: Director Affiliation: Russia Research Network; Senior Associate Fellow, Royal United Services Institute
Dr. Andrew Monaghan is Director of the Russia Research Network and Senior Associate Fellow at RUSI. He has advised governments and international organizations and is the author of several books, including Dealing with the Russians (2019) and Power in Modern Russia (2017).
Dr. Samuel Charap
Title: Senior Political Scientist Affiliation: RAND Corporation
Dr. Samuel Charap specializes in the foreign policies of Russia and the former Soviet states, European and Eurasian regional security, and U.S.-Russia deterrence. He is the author of Everyone Loses: The Ukraine Crisis and the Ruinous Contest for Post-Soviet Eurasia (2017) and has published extensively in journals such as Foreign Affairs and Survival.
