Professor Geoffrey Till
Title: Emeritus Professor of Maritime Studies; Dudley W. Knox Chair for Naval History and Strategy Affiliation: King's College London; U.S. Naval War College
Geoffrey Till is Emeritus Professor of Maritime Studies at King's College London and Chairman of the Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy Studies. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Singapore, and adjunct Professor at the National Institute for South China Sea Studies, Hainan, China. He currently holds the Dudley W. Knox Chair for Naval History and Strategy at the U.S. Naval War College. His publications include Understanding Victory: Naval Operations from Trafalgar to the Falklands and the fourth edition of Seapower: A Guide for the 21st Century.
Dr. Igor Delanoë
Title: Deputy Head Affiliation: French-Russian Analytical Center, Observo, Moscow
Dr. Igor Delanoë specializes in Russian defense and foreign policy issues, Russia's interests in the Mediterranean and Middle East, and the geopolitics of the Black Sea region. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University's Black Sea Security Program. He is a Research Associate at Kadir Has University and University Côte d'Azur, and has consulted for the French ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
Dr. Michael Petersen
Title: Director, Russia Maritime Studies Institute; Associate Professor Affiliation: United States Naval War College
Dr. Michael Petersen specializes in Russian naval operations and strategy, as well as net assessments of high-intensity maritime conflict. He previously served with the Defense Intelligence Agency and National Security Council. He is the author of Missiles for the Fatherland: Peenemuende, National Socialism, and the V-2 Missile and holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of Maryland, College Park.
