Johan Norberg
Title: Eurasia Fellow Affiliation: Foreign Policy Research Institute; Senior Military Analyst, Sweden’s Defense Research Agency (FOI)
Johan Norberg is one of the world’s leading experts on Russian military affairs. He has worked at Sweden’s Defense Research Agency (FOI) for 24 years, examining developments in the Russian Armed Forces. His publications include Russian Military Capability in a Ten-Year Perspective (2019) and Training to Fight: Russia’s Major Military Exercises 2011-2014 (2015). He has also served as a visiting scholar at Columbia University.
Robert Lee
Title: Fellow Affiliation: Foreign Policy Research Institute
Robert Lee specializes in Russian military affairs and has contributed to FPRI’s research on topics such as Russian aviation, armored vehicles, and military posture in the Arctic. He is a PhD candidate at King’s College London and has served as an infantry officer in the Marine Corps. He holds an MA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
